Hi, I'm Dorian Starr
I'm a photographer and videographer based in Southwest Virginia but am always down to travel! Starting as just a hobby, photography and videography became one of my greatest passions. I love shooting just about anything but portraits are my favorite! I love capturing your unforgettable moments in my photos so you might catch me shooting some real, candid images.
I am a graduate of Radford University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Production Technology. My background in production provides me with a distinct perspective on storytelling, allowing me to capture timeless and authentic film and imagery. I’m dedicated to creating intentional visuals that resonate, each piece telling its own unique story allowing you to remember those special moments for years to come.

A SMALL GLIMPSE INTO MY LIFE!
I met my wife while we were both studying at Radford University, and soon after got married in 2022. She’s not only my partner in life but also a huge support behind the scenes of our business. She keeps everything running smoothly and often lends a hand with various tasks, including showing up to sessions and on wedding days to ensure everything goes off without a hitch. Whether she’s handling the logistics or offering her creative input while directing you with prompts and poses, her presence makes all the difference!
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find my wife and I at home, enjoying the quiet comfort of our two cats, Clem and Pepper. These furry companions have a way of reminding me of the simple joys that often go unnoticed in the hustle of everyday life.
